History of RAWOO Aviation
In 2002, JK YOON founded RAWOO Aviation, the first comprehensive aviation consulting company in Korea. He operated an independent quality system based on aircraft accident investigation, pilot training, and IOSA standards for 25 years, starting from 1979 at Korean Air.
Since 2002, RAWOO Aviation has been committed to building efficient and safe airline organizations for the first LCCs and Southeast Asian airlines in Korea, establishing operational standards. RAWOO Aviation has continuously provided comprehensive consulting services for aircraft leasing and purchasing, as well as marketing strategies.
In 2012, through one year of consulting with CAE, JK established CAE KOREA and obtained authorization from aviation authorities as an Aviation Training Organization.
CAE KOREA introduced Full Flight Simulators for B737, A320, A330, and Citation M2 aircraft types, initiating simulator and jet flight training.
From 2020 to 2023, Rawoo Aviation has conducted approximately 50 Ferry Flight Services for FAA, EASA, CAYMAN, 2-REG registered aircraft from Korea, China, Southeast Asia, the United States, and Europe.
Additionally, FAA Certified Engineers residing in Korea have provided support for Document and Physical Inspections for aircraft redelivery, as per the requirements of aircraft lessors. RAWOO Aviation is currently building a diverse pool of pilot personnel and securing qualified pilots residing in Korea, China, the United States, and Europe.
